Why Geldenhuys Global

I have always been driven by the idea that life and business should not be confined to one country or one way of thinking. From early on, I knew my career would be international, hands-on, and built around solving real problems for real businesses.

Most of my professional experience has been rooted in South Africa, primarily in Cape Town, where I spent over a decade in heavy industry, manufacturing, recycling, and commercial operations. During this time, I worked across concrete brick manufacturing and large-scale recycling operations, where we processed more than 30,000 tons of construction rubble per month. I was involved not only in operations, but also in plant development, procurement, and sales, gaining first-hand experience in how industrial businesses are built, scaled, and sold.

I later moved into a senior role within a large industrial group, where I was responsible for projects, commercial management, and business development. This phase of my career took me across multiple countries particularly China where I spent significant time sourcing equipment, working directly with factories, and understanding the realities of international manufacturing, work culture, quality control, and supplier risk.

During this period, I was involved in the development of a steel foundry and multiple recycling and processing plants, working closely with Chinese manufacturers while representing Western expectations around quality, accountability, and delivery.

Today, I combine this operational, commercial, and international experience to help manufacturers and buyers bridge the gap between Chinese production capability and Western expectations, with a strong focus on quality, accountability, and results.

We are strong in manufacturing, sourcing, and international sales and we often act as the international sales and commercial representative for manufacturers who want to grow beyond their local markets and engage serious buyers with confidence.

Between Texas (USA), Cape Town, and China, I spend my time growing the business globally, building trusted relationships, and doing what drives me most solving problems, securing the right solution at the right price, and delivering outcomes that clients can rely on.
